The President is responsible for the overall operation of the Chapter. He/she shall preside at all meetings of the Chapter membership and the Board of Directors. He/she shall assure adherence to the Constitution and Bylaws and keep the members of the Board of Directors fully informed and consulted concerning the business of the Chapter. He/she shall appoint whatever committees are necessary to carry out the objectives of the Chapter and shall serve as an ex officio member of all committees.
The President-Elect shall provide support and assistance to the operation of the Chapter. They shall perform activities related to short and long-term Chapter planning and other activities to ensure that member needs are addressed and that a high quality level of activity is maintained.
The Secretary shall record the proceedings of the meetings of the Chapter. He/she shall issue notices of all meetings, keep minutes of the Board of Directors meetings, and perform such other duties as may be assigned as needed by the President.
The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the Chapter. Activities include the developing of a Chapter Financial Budget, maintaining control and accountability over revenues and expenditures and financial reporting to the Board. The Treasurer is also responsible for attending all Board Meetings and for reporting all requested financial information to the National HFMA office.
