Educational Program Learn more
Coordinates the venue, theme, topics and speakers for the Chapter’s Education Programs and workshops in the fields of general accounting, auditing, budgeting, Medicare, Medicaid, governmental legislation, contracting, managed care, patient accounting, credit and collections, and patient registration, accounting and management.

Long-Term Care Learn more
Reviews and reports to membership the changes affecting reimbursement and the finances of the healthcare institutions such as skilled nursing facilities, extended care facilities, home care agencies, health related facilities, etc.

Annual Institute Learn more
Coordinates the topics and speakers for the Chapter’s Annual educational institute.

Newsletter Learn more
Releases to members, the press, other interested organizations and individuals information regarding Chapter activity and achievements by individual members. Newsletters will be published containing at least three of the following five types of information: 1) announcements of all Chapter meetings, 2) notes about any accomplishments or activity of members, 3) material stimulating interest in membership, 4) material to stimulate interest in educational efforts and 5) reprints of material of current technical interest from HFMA publications or other sources of original articles.

Sponsorship Learn more
Expands the opportunities for Chapter members by gaining financial support for our seminars and related activities. Promotes and coordinates Corporate Sponsorship to ensure our Chapter’s financial viability and promotes good-will recognition to corporations that contribute to the underwriting of Chapter programs.

Website/Communications Learn more
Coordinates all of the changes and updates with Chapter leadership and the various committee chairs in order to keep the membership current through the website with the Chapter’s ongoing calendar of events and other significant news. This committee also handles all of the Social Media posts and discussions via LinkedIn!

Membership Learn more
Recruits new members per the quota set by National. The committee will process new membership applications, and will be responsible for calling and inviting new members to monthly meetings to receive certificates. Reports membership statistics at monthly meetings and for Newsletter.

Social Learn more
Plans and organizes Chapter social events to foster and encourage networking.

Assist members with obtaining the CHFP, FHFMA, CRCR HFMA National certifications.
